I’ve used AttendStar for a few different event setups now, it’s handled them well. Changing ticket types and updating dates was simple enough, which is kind of what you need, right? A couple parts took me a minute to figure out, but overall it’s been flexible and works well for what we need

I had a disappointing experience with their customer service. The support felt rude and careless, i can see other customers feeling frustrated by the same thing. I wouldn’t want to deal with them again

"I had an issue with my ticket order..."
I had an issue with my ticket order and was hoping to get help quickly. I sent a message and then kind of just waited... longer than I expected.
They did eventually get back to me, and to be fair, they fixed the problem. So I wouldn’t call it a bad experience... just a bit slower than I would’ve liked.
For basic questions or stuff that isn’t urgent, it’s probably totally fine. But if you’re on a tight timeline, the wait can feel a little stressful.

"Worked fine, but I wish it felt a little smoother"
I used AttendStar for a small event, and overall it did what I needed. I still remember that little wave of relief when the first reminder went out on time, because I was worried I’d have to chase people down myself. Setting up the emails and texts was straightforward, and most of our guests seemed to get the info without any trouble.
That said, tweaking the wording felt a bit clunky, and I kept wishing the replies or updates section was easier to follow. A few people told me later they either missed the email or found it sitting in spam, which was a little frustrating after putting time into it. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just not quite as smooth as I hoped it would be

"Reporting feels too basic for the price"
Attendstar was fine for the actual ticket-selling part, and I didn’t have any major issues getting an event set up. But the reporting felt limited compared to what I’d expect from a paid platform. I wanted quick, useful insights like sales trends, cleaner summaries, and better breakdowns, but even finding simple numbers took more clicking around than it should have.
Exporting reports was also a bit of a hassle, and the formatting didn’t always come out in a way that was easy to work with. If you’re running a small event and only need the basics, it might be good enough, but for anyone who really values tracking performance and making decisions from the data, I’d say it falls short. Support was polite, but they didn’t really fix the reporting problems for me

"Training Was Confusing"
I was hoping the training materials would make things easier to figure out, but they mostly left me more confused. Some parts felt unclear, and I didn’t get much practical help from them. Then suddenly I was like, wait, am I supposed to already know this stuff? Overall, the training could definitely be more straightforward.

"Decent box office tools, but setup drained me"
The box office tools work fine once everything is up and running, but the setup was more confusing than it needed to be. I felt like I wasted way too much energy figuring out steps that should’ve been straightforward.

I used AttendStar for scanning tickets at my event, and overall it got the job done. I figured it out quickly, which I appreciated because I didn’t want to spend a bunch of time messing with it. That said, a few tickets made me try more than once, and when the line started building up, the app felt a little slower than I would’ve liked. It wasn’t a disaster or anything, just not as smooth as I hoped. I’d use it again if I had to, but I’d really like it to be a bit faster next time...

"Checkout completely wore me out"
I tried to buy tickets, but the checkout process kept throwing errors at me. I had to re-enter my information more than once, and every time it just got more confusing. I was already feeling mentally drained, and this made it worse. In the end, I just gave up.

I used attendstar on my phone to grab tickets for a local show, and overall it was straightforward. I was able to find my way around the app without much trouble, checkout was quick, and my tickets showed up right away, which was nice.
The only thing that bothered me was that a few screens loaded slowly. It still worked in the end, but if that keeps happening, I’d probably start looking at other options next time.

"Site kept going down and it felt careless"
The site was down way too often, and it got really frustrating. It felt like things weren’t being handled carefully or monitored properly. I kept trying to use it and running into issues, which was annoying.

We used AttendStar to collect donations for our event, i was a bit suspicious at first about whether everything would go through smoothly. Setup ended up being simple, and the payments came in without any issues. I did have to poke around for a minute to find one setting, but overall it did what we needed.

"Pretty quick payout, mostly smooth"
I used AttendStar for an event not too long ago and the payout came through faster than I thought it would, like soon after everything wrapped up. It just showed up in my account without me having to email or bug anyone, which was great. I’m giving it one star off because the dashboard was a little confusing at first and took me a bit to get used to, but overall it was a solid experience

"I was checking out AttendStar, but..."
I was checking out AttendStar, but the pricing had me confused. Like, what would I actually be paying?? I couldn’t easily figure out what fees were included without clicking around and digging for answers. For something that handles ticket sales, I really expect the costs to be clear upfront. Maybe the platform works fine, but the pricing info left me annoyed and a little hesitant to trust it.

Some of the ticket emails showed up late, and a few just didn’t show up at all. It’s, like, frustrating when guests are asking me about them and I don’t have a good answer...

"Easy enough, but a little clunky"
I used Attendstar and it was easy, easy overall. I was able to figure out the ticket stuff without too much trouble, which was nice. Some of the pages felt a little clunky though, and I did have to click around and click around more than I expected. Not a bad experience at all, just feels like it could be a bit smoother...
